and youve got a few combos there that could be used to factory blockade his base, sacrifice a few b-copters to clear one of his factories then stick something fat like a midtank on it,, chokes his production capabilities.

uhh... why arent you moving any of those infantry up?, getting those extra bombers would be so much easier if you took those neutral cities.

I see... Andy is the focal point in this mission. When I passed it, it took me about 30 days if not more, and I got a C-rank, but I suppose I had the same CO's. I play slowly, but sturdily. In the end, I overcame him with multiple bombers.

for some reason i got grit on the right and kanbei on the left, does it matter?

I think this same strategy could apply for that combination. However, Kanbei does not have the Lightning Strike like Eagle does. Grit will primarily be drawing enemy fire, which if you think about it, anyone can do. I personally think Max can handle it the best, though. Though, Grit could get a few licks in because of his long attack range.

Do you happen to have any strats with Grit? I imagine it would mostly be the same as max except that it would be harder to keep his units alive for long

Well, let's see...if you're gonna use Grit, keep him on the left side of the screen and attack from a distance with artillery and anti-air units. And if you've got a strong character on the right side, you can use Grit as a punching bag, since only Andy has to survive. And remember, the Meteor Strike can't kill a unit, it can only wear it down.
