Dead Like Me: The Movie - Life After Death -- Ending

**MAJOR SPOILERS FROM MOVIE**

The group is left without a leader after Rube gets his lights and moves on, and Roxy, Daisy, and Mason murder their new leader. They wonder who their next new leader will be as they leave Dolores' cat's funeral.

After finally contacting her sister Reggie, and telling her who she is, George and Reggie both realize that although she now knows George's secret, they can't communicate, as Reggie needs to let go, and move on with her life. The movie ends with George being showered by Post-Its, signifying she has been deemed the groups new leader.

I always thought the post-its were to signify she was being punished for interacting with her sister... Am I wrong?

@superdogmeatmeat Yes. The writers explained what it meant when people asked. It is infact saying she has been promoted to leader.

She was willing to let her sister move on with her life, and move on with her own. The other reapers fell to temptation and abandoned their duty.

That should actually be incorrect, in one of the episodes you find out that the old leader (Rube) just buys his post-its...

@superdogmeatmeat Yes, but at the same time, it's a way for the higher power to tell George, as they don't ever actually say anything. This just seemed appropriate.

I wish the movie would've been WAY better because this is probably the last "dead like me" thing....the actor for daisy was a OVER actor and rube wasn't even in it!!!!!

@gigglegal0523 Sadly, even if the show returned (Last I heard, there's still talks), Rube wouldn't be in it, due to the storyline for why he was gone. Unless they decide to make it so Reapers who meet their quota simply move onto another place in the world to Reap >_>

I personally just don't like the character of Daisy. I think if Dead Like Me somehow returns, they should write her out. She's the "oldest" of the remaining, so it wouldnt be hard to say she reached her quota.

I wish they would have kept going on with it :( I really have nothing to watch on T.V now besides Criminal minds (Rubes actor is in it O3O) and the reaper I just wish there were more shows like this

@Myzou77 I think if they brought back the show they would be able to think of a way to write Rube into it. They really only had Cameron's word to go on that Rube had moved on, who knows?

The final meeting between George and Reggie is SO touching! Love, farewell, forgiving, missing, promise - everything was said in their eyes, without a single word. This time they've truly said "goodbye" for each other. And shared a secret no one in the world else knows. After all, at the very end, they did become sisters.
