me doing my fartlek training from this week. I am three weeks into and has really improved start at one set with a 30 second rest in between and work up to four sets.
I liked it. Seems that this training could improve the performance. I want to include it in my martial arts workout, as an apart session. Just one question: is a good idea to do it in all ranges? I mean, is it good to run at a low speed and then run as fast as you can (100%) and again try to rest walking or running very slow...?
Great video. it incorporates some of the components of fitness. Although this is not a fartlek training. it's more Plyometrics, endurance, and some agility and some power training towards the end. farltlek is more associated with LSD, pace/tempo and repetitive training done at 70% vo2max. it can also be used on swimming and interval training. But it depends on yur goal and what yu're trying to achieve. But otherwise, good video which covers most of fitness components like Muscular endurance.
Nice i want to start doing some fartlek training. Has it improved your strength at all? Or has it just improved your endurance + speed or all three? Awesome to see you doing all these different sorts of excercises only ever thought of it as a running thing.
