BJ Wards books include Gravediggers Birthday and Landing in New Jersey with Soft Hands, both published by North Atlantic Books. His work has been featured on National Public Radio, New Jersey Network, and the web site, Poetry Daily, as well as in publications such as Poetry, TriQuarterly, and The Literary Review. He has been awarded a Pushcart Prize and two Distinguished Artist Fellowships from the New Jersey State Council on the Arts. He teaches at Warren County Community College.
