"There are many external water cooling kits on the market and most of them are easy to install, this one is no exception. What sets this water cooling system apart from many is that it's completely silent, unless you want the fan kit. The fan kit is recommended if you live in a hot environment or want lower temperature results. Watch the Video to find out more..." ~3dGameMan.com

  • @Ri1seAgainst Thanks. I heard GTX570 had heat issues (or was that the 470). So if you can keep that cool then I'll probably plumb for a new case. I'll need a new ATX mobo too, as mine's a BTX. 500r looks great!

  • @Jeorney uhm yeah it is definatly your case that is the issue are you comfortable with a dremel? if so cut a 120mm or 200mm case fan mounting area preferably the 200mm (quieter with more airflow) or look into a different case I highly recommend the corsair 500r I own it and it is awesome I can have all the fans nearly 800rpm and have really good temps ina hot enviorment about 60c under 100% load ona gtx 570 reference cooler with overclocking

  • @Ri1seAgainst Case is Dell XPS 420, so it looks like I need a new case with a couple of fans to replace the heated air. Fans are at 100% but setting fans manually to speed up sooner helps, but really it delays the heat problem. I could get a extra 80mm fan to keep the air circulating, but I'll still need to keep the case open.

  • @Jeorney what case do you have? also download msi afterburner or EVGA precision and up the fan speed because that might help

  • Would this work for the MSI GTX 580 Twin Frozer II o/c edition (nVidia) ? My GPU hits a shocking 98 Deg C. 85 with the PC case open and windows letting in winter air. It just releases hot air back into the PC rather than venting it out like most cards. So even the PSU and CPU are stuggling to keep cool. The case fan cannot cope with the high temps in the PC. Some say get a new PC case, but I doubt that it would get temps below 85 deg. Water cooling seems to be my only solution.

  • @tormentor159 I'm sure there is more tubing inside so this doesn't happen. It just makes sense to have them close together, mainly for aesthetics but also for ease of use as tubes won't be coming out of the top as well as the bottom.

  • @tormentor159 It's the pump inlet and outlet.. Why would they be far apart?

  • I have to disagree its nice to have a fan but you dont need it because of the amount of water thats in the zallman tank..pose to corsair that needs the fan because theres far less water in there raid and for that there fans has to crank out to keep cool and zalman makes no noise at all not one bit plus i run a high end quad to 3.8 stable & i play games for hours and i also watch Blu Ray movies so i know and you dont have a clue..

  • @disnukka79 very few radiators work properly without a fan. look at any car out there. radiators have fans there. back to computers, the corsair and intel closed system liquid coolers all have fans on them. it also has a lot to do with how hot your components run and how far you plan to overclock. if you don't plan to overclock... save you money and use stock coolers.

  • the beard i mean :P
