Don't laugh at me. T_T. Don't watch this either if you aren't my teacher for psych... LOL. Submission for Psych class (3rd period). After recording for the 9387th time, I gave up and just rendered. I edited this last night and I was getting kind of tired. Tehehe... Reenactment with the sims of what I actually did IRL since my camera wasn't available at the time. Disabled comments because yeah... XD
What do all these people have in common, you may ask? They are my test subjects for this experiment that I'm conducting.
I have made a list of simple questions to ask them, while asking the questions, i'll be trying to modify the behaviors of them without trying to let them know what I'm actually doing.
Eric tends to shake his leg alot, without even noticing it. It's basically just on impulse. I'm going to try to make him stop shaking his leg during this experiment.
Jann tends to comb or do something with her hair while being talked to. In this experiment, I'm going to try to make her stop fiddling with her hair.
Luke slouches a lot. in this experiment I'm going to try to make him sit up straight, going to try to make him have a good posture.
My hypothesis is that if I could modify their behaviors before Q#13, if they can't get the behavior I wanted them to do, i'll start dropping hints.
During the experiment, it was kind of frustrating to not drop any hints to eric, jann, or luke. but some of them got it without me dropping any hints. Eric was the first one who stopped shaking his legs. While Jann was the second one to stop what I wanted her to not do. As for luke, he did not get it at all. he just kept on slouching.
I wanted them to consistently stop what they were doing during this experiment. It only worked for Eric and Jann. Luke was the one that wouldn't stop slouching whatsoever. What went wrong, was making
myself confused. While dropping hints to Luke, it was frustrating because I had to multi-task. I had to ask him a question, then make up a hint. If I could re-do it, I would have positive & negative
reinforcements before hand. That also goes for hints.
Overall, the experiment was kind of difficult for me because I had to multi-task, I'm just not very good at that. 2 out of the 3 people that i conducted this experiment on got it, while the other person did not know. When I revealed the truth of this experiment, they didn't really care. or they were kind of confused, kept on asking why did i do this. I also found out that I'm pretty impatient when it comes to trying to make them sit up or stop combing or shaking. It was kind of fun seeing them struggle when i kept on saying no to their answers, they were also getting impatient. And that's kind of it... basically.
