Goldust is a marketable character. He was injury-prone awhile back so they quite pushing him,basically to sum it up.

i liked the Goldust character, especially in the earlier WWF days, but i always felt like him being a heel was playing on people's prejudices towards homosexuals. i mean yeah they later revealed that he wasn't gay and just playing mind games, but still it just seemed like a cheap way to get heat.
