Following the success of the third international algae congress which took place in Hamburg on 1 and 2 December last year, the organisers are pleased to announce the successor of this congress. The 4th international algae congress will take place, exactly one year later, in the Planetarium in Amsterdam, the Netherlands on 1 and 2 December next. It is being organised by DLG BENELUX, the Dutch subsidiary of DLG e.V. in the Netherlands.
Over two days the audience will hear viewpoints from many parts of the world since the speakers represent organisations from a diversity of countries worldwide like f.e. Germany, Australia, USA/Hawaii, and the Netherlands.
This diversity in speakers' backgrounds surely will lead to discussions with the professional audience on opportunities and threats and to sharing best practices. The speakers will be able to share their ways of thinking with delegates representing sectors such as research, industry and national and international public authorities.
