In Korea they call them hagwons and in Japan they are known as eikaiwas. Most people who come to korea and Japan to teach English end up working in one of them at some point. Here is a basic primer into what a private language school is in Japan and Korea.

i am looking for a great place to teach, but its so difficult. i'm qualified and getting tefl online, but there are so many places to choose from, and i don't know who's hiring and whats a scam and what's not.
