This is the video I used to propose to my girlfriend (now wife) Kate. I rented an old movie theater and showed it to her there. She said "YES"!
The video was made using Adobe Premiere with clips from an IMAX movie and the song "Glosoli" by Sigur Ros.

I think the full white screen at the end would have lit up the cinema, making it easier to hand over the ring. Its not as bad an idea as you may think.
