Good discussion about ghost writing with Lanie Adamson. It can be difficult to write a simple unbiased informative article about anything, let along pharmaceuticals. I agree with Ms. Adamson, as long as there is full disclosure, the article can be helpful.

RE: Ghostwriters - I know I'm stating the obvious, but if you want to write a book, why not just write it yourself?...Am I missing something here? Pilots always believe in Keeping It Simple (Stupid). Great discussion by Lanie though!

Interesting interview with Lanie Adamson. Didn't realize the problems encountered in peer-review process. It certainly would clarify things if you knew the name of the writer of an article.
