  • Is it just me, or did the new Sherlock Holmes movie completely rip off this tune?!

  • here is a stupid aside...

My kids have a wii game called "raving rabbids", which is a pretty insane, but clever, game that has lots o min gamesf music spiced up from the 60s and 70s.

One oddball minigame with a western theme caught my attention-- the background music is prety close to identical to "Farewell to Cheyenne". When I first head my kids playing it, I told them that the music came from of the best western movies of all time.

  • @Trashcansam123 friends and I all thought the same when we saw it as well =P fantastic movie.

  • @GarlandFraser Hahaha, that's exactly what I was saying while watching this movie! wow lol, glad I'm not the only one who thought so, it's terribly obvious, but for good reason, listen to it! amazing.

  • Just make believe it´s nothing.

  • @Trashcansam123 Exactly what I thought when I first saw him :D

  • 0:44 That guy looks like Jack Black

  • @GarlandFraser not quite - I think the credit went to the wrong film - without a doubt it was a Morricone piece but the credits stated it was from Two Mules for Sister Sara, however I am convinced it was from this one...

  • I have been looking for this tune for ages , now I know what its called,, very haunting ,just like all the spaghetti , western tunes

  • Cheyenne, one of the best characters in spaghetti western ever.

  • A very nice song!

  • @testodude Hans Zimmer is greatly inspired by Ennio Morricone. It's not a rip off, its an homage. He does the same in the Pirates of the Caribbean 3 soundtrack.
