My mom and I made these for when my friend came for the weekend. We thought she'd think we were nuts but she came into the room and actually asked where HER hat was. It was awesome.

of course no one knows that these hats don't work because they contain no impedance, the hat would work if it was grounded or an electric feild passing through the metal.
hats like these are just an antenna.
