why bring these dangerous bulbs in? it will take hours to clean up a broken bulb and who's to say if that makes the area safe, we should all break one on the streets as a protest and see how long it takes 'em to clean up!

some make noise you need to be aware will cause a hissing noise in your ears after a time that last forever!
If you have many of them and hear a high pitch sound you do not know where it comes from...now you know!
the NEW TWIST LOW ENERGY BULBS fail and make noises and brake with great easy if touched dropped or bumped even...BEWARE! If you have friends that have ears that ring hogh pitch...ask them if they have such bulbs.

Fuck this shit, I dropped one on the floor once and put it in a carrier bag and took it to the supermarket CFL place next time we had to stock up on food, WAY TOO COLD TO OPEN A FUCKING WINDOW

They are dangerous when installed in a enclosed fixture or installed base up of over heating. And can not be used in a dimmer motion light or some timers unless special dimmable light .And some dimmer switches cause the CFL to burn out more faster. LED is better but at a cost of $10 to $50 a light $1000 to retrofit average small home of 10 to 20 bulbs.
