At 3:05 Rudy reminds us he "lived through" the the attack in London on July 7, 2005 - saying he was mere yards from the first explosion.

On 9/11 Richard Sheirer was Giuliani's Commissioner of the Office of Emergency Management for the City of New York, directing New York's overall emergency response planning in the lead-in to 9/11. Sheirer himself was the city's on-scene coordinator of multiple agency responses to the 9/11 attacks themselves. Sheirer remains a Senior VP of Giuliani Partners to this day.

Sheirer also sat on the board of the Canadian Centre for Emergency Preparedness, together with Peter Power - former member of the UK anti-terrorism force.

Power would brag his firm - Visor Consultants - had been conducting a 'coincident' terror drill in London on 7/7/2005, targeting exactly the same underground stations that were actually hit.
