Okay I tried this, and I did everything according to what you said.. but everytime I click "make it ra1n" it just stays at the connect to itunes page.. what's wrong?

yeah i got my ipod but when i go to itunes it says that i have 1.5GB of "other" stuff on it....but i dont really have anything on it...what is that?
