@kingzo72788 Nobody will care if you're from the South in Chicago. There are millions of people in the city itself and as many as nine million in a very close area if you include the suburbs that pour into Indiana and Wisconsin. There are tons of different people here. It's a true American melting pot culture--a great place to be, you should visit!

@kingzo72788 Chicago is a great place to be anytime of the year, but you'll probably want to go during the summer because it can get mighty cold in winter. It has a stunning nightlife, an awe-inspiring skyline (literally, you cannot see the tops of the buildings sometimes because they reach the clouds) and a great strip of downtown along Mich. Avenue and also the lakefront where the museums and Soldier Field are. It's definitely a place to see!
I'm from Wisconsin and I've been there many times.

I am really surprised that not many movies use Chicago's LSD as a back drop. As great as they are, LA & NYC are getting tiresome and old. There's a lot more the America than those said two cities. Chicago is one of them.
