no, but your percentage affects you getting the mascot dressphere nearer the end of the game

u must do everything over again, though only doing missed or skipped things will get you more %

@finalfantasyaddicted go to the big machine thing and click X, then he will say 'thank god, i thought you'd never leave!" or something like that, and then click 'go back to camp." :)
