is your car chiped or remaped? because i heard that you can't remap it.

@londoncars1 - I have a Auris 1.6 with racing plugs & cone filter only... Put it in 1, leave the clutch fast and floor it, then snap change into 2 without leaving the accelerator.. It will spin through both gears and leave long lines :)

If you've got enough torque a start from 2nd gear can make sense. And as you can see, he gets off really qiuck.

The 1.6 Auris about 150newtonmeter
The 2.2 DCat Auris with chip is 450newtonmeter (stock: 400nm)
And the first gear is shorter than your car. You can't do it.
