@eirdway I have seen them on Indian instruments but somehow thought they'd be unstable and move around easily. I am sure i was wrong. i will give them a try just because they can be so fast. The micro tuners are great too.

BOTH OF THESE ARE GREAT,
BUT I THINK THE FUTURE
LIES IN THE "PEGHEDS"
(KNILLING PERFECTION
PLANETARY PEGS)

@eirdway @eirdway Thanks for the info but they won't work for a persian setar. There isn't enough space and the bridge is too low. I own an Indian sitar. On a sitar, the bridge sits pretty high which increases the string tension, specially on the back side where the beads are. Also, I don't see any asthetic faults with the finetuners. They're used on all kinds of instruments and function perfectly, which is nice if you don't want to spend a long time tuning.

The tuners are not expensive and they work perfectly for this purpose.

thanks, those videos are kinda old. I will soon post new videos of both the innovations and the music

Thanks. You should probably make a video about your innovations as well. I enjoyed the vidoes.

Great great idea. Every Setar and eventually every Tar needs this. Thanks to you and Thanks to GoodCyrus who has installed them on the sound board. I believe sound board is a better idea as it is hidden and also it does not change the weight of the neck. Again, excellent idea.

Thank you. I like your videos too. The only reason why I didn't put my finetuners on the soundboard is that I don't know if they'll affect the soundboard in a negative way or not. The setar soundboard is very delicate. Also, the tuners can scratch the finish. They don't add any weight to the neck at all if they're on the peghead end. But yes, it's a simple solution to a big problem in tuning instruments that use tuning pegs.
