Vancouver Canada is 50)=% Chinese. Their inability to drive is bizarre in the extreme. The stuff you see them doing is beyond belief. A "suburb" of Vancouver is Richmond which is about 90% Chinese. The City councel passed a bylaw several years ago that bans self - serve gas as so many of them were driving away with the filler nozzle still in the tank !! Ripping countless hoses from the gas pumps !! What does that tell you ??

Notice that this video dates from 2007 - I wonder what the traffic death statistics for China are now. There must be a huge increase in the number of vehicles since then, but are people still being killed at the same rate?

China's driving schools are really really weird. They teach all this complex crap like starting from 2nd gear, but don't teach basic stuff like driving and keeping a safe distance. (manual transmission) This is so freaky. Oh and they insist you drive a manual, even if you tell them that your car is an auto.

This is what happens when you can buy a drivers license and the test has nothing to do with real world driving skills. It is scarey. I really hope China can rectify this. Let's hope the glorious CCP will start taking its job more seriously one of these days.

I have lived in China for 2 years and I own and drive a motorcycle.

The Chinese cannot drive. It is that simple. 30% simply lack the ability to judge time, space, distance, acceleration and deceleration. I see this every day. They drive up to a person, vehicle or obstacle and they don't 'see it' until they are 5 meters away.

I do not know why this is.
