The Coalition of Women for a Just Peace is an umbrella organization of women's groups in Israel, established in November 2000. It is often referred to as "Coalition of Women for Peace" or CWP for practical reasons, but is still committed to political, social, economic and gender justice. They call on the Israeli government to end the occupation of the Palestinian territories. Many of the member groups of the coalition are broader social justice groups rather than single-issue anti-occupation groups. Around the start of the Al-Aqsa Intifada, they brought together several demonstrations of approximately 5,000 people and mobilized thousands to public protests against the Second Lebanon War (2006) and the War on Gaza (2008-9).
The Coalition came to an agreement on their principles for solution of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict at a meeting of the Coalition of Women for a Just Peace in Nazareth on 29 November 2000. They are as follows:
An end to the occupation.
Establishment of the state of Palestine side by side with the state of Israel based on the 1967 borders.
Recognition of Jerusalem as the shared capital of two states.
Israel must recognize its responsibility for the results of the 1948 war, and find a just solution to the Palestinian refugee problem.
Opposition to the militarism that permeates Israeli society.
Equality, inclusion and justice for Palestinian citizens of Israel.
Equal rights for women and for all residents of Israel.
The full involvement of women in negotiations for peace.
Social and economic justice for Israel's citizens, and integration in the region.
However, due to political developments on the ground and profound changes in the political discourse and practices of resistance around the Israeli occupation, the Coalition of Women for a Just Peace has engaged in re-evaluation of these principles. The aim of this ideological-political process is to agree on new principles which would reflect more accurately the political identity and the every-day political struggles of the Coalition.

  • Bunch of spoiled hookers, playing the PC appeasement card. Waste of time.

  • @megdaliG

Do you have problems understanding history? Zionism began before 19th century

Jews had Independent institutions before the Second World War

the Jews received recognition long before the Palestinians

  • @TheUria24 yes well lets see after the jews were being attacked and killed by hitler they wanted a land of thier own so they did exactly what hitler did to them they barged into palestine and started killing people and started a war

  • Continue Resisting the Occupation

  • @TheUria24

The Mufti didn't want Germany or anyone else sending Jews to Palestine, which is understandable, particularly with hindsight. He went to Germany to lobby for a policy of not sending Jews to Palestine. A number of notorious lies were created about him. You have your facts all messed up. You have been fed a pack of lies on this subject. Palestinians are currently occupied, anyone with any sense is aware of this fact.

  • There was nothing like the state of Palestine

    Therefore there is no occupation

Up to 67 these lands were controlled by Jordan and Egypt

    Deportation did not happen

Even Abbas said it was the fault of the Arab countries

The Palestinians followers of Jerusalem's religious leader Grand Mufti Haj Amin al-Husseini

look it up or see my video
