Estée Lauder Topaz
US Launch Date: Winter 2012 - Available for a limited time at select Estée Lauder counters, www.esteelauder.com and select department store websites (ie: saks.com, nordstrom.com, etc.)

Pure Color EyeShadow Palette in Topaz Mosiac $45.00
Pure Color Intense Kajal Eye Crayon $22.00
Pure Color Sensuous Rouge Lip Color $28.00
Pure Color Gloss in Citron Kiss $24.00
Pure Color Nail Lacquer $19.00
Pure Color Illuminating Powder Gelée in Topaz Chameleon $40.00

Note: All prices listed are in US Dollars. All products shown were purchased by me. Reviews are honest and my own opinion; I am not affiliated with Estée Lauder nor do I receive compensation for reviews.

From Tom Pecheux, Creative Makeup Director, Estée Lauder: "My inspiration behind the collection was vacationing in Arizona, enjoying the warm sun, the amazing desert colors and the shadows that play on the sand and rocks. I was thinking of a gorgeously healthy-looking woman that had an element of fantasy in her personality. I wanted to convey that with a palette of strong yet soft colors."

And yes, before you ask: For completely unrelated reasons I am bronzed beyond what I normally am! I'm AROUND 4 shades darker than my natural skintone in this video ;)

  • I saw another illuminating powder at nordtrom on line which is $42, It is called 'Pure Color' Illuminating Powder Gelée from the Bronze Goddess Capri Summer 2012 Collection. Is it different from the powder in this video?

  • @TheLoveandy Yes, I haven't filmed a review on that one yet. I will be though :)

  • This is the only one video I could find to watch before making a final a decision on buying Estee Lauder Spring 2012 collection. Thank you so much for creating a wonderfully useful review. ^^

  • Tnx for the great review. I was disappointed that the illuminator was so dark, but after watching u, I think I'll keep it and use a stippling brush to apply the way u did.

    Hugs xox

  • @PinkUdders Yeah makeup is one of those things (along with electronics, books and clothes) that I'm like "damnit!" when I see how cheap it is in the US. 8( I mean, I'd rather live somewhere with decent healthcare and unemployment but I'm still jealous. :P

  • you look ridiculously handsome when your glasses free :D but i do love your ray bans toooo
