My wife works a a nursing home. She works in the activities department keeping the residents entertained. It's one of the better ones in the area. They take very good care of the people but it's still sad to see them there instead of their own homes.

A great moment to remember. stay close to Dad and Mom. My father is 89 Today and doing well. My Mother passed in spring of 1998 of cancer. Cherish these moments. If Mom can take care of Dad at home that would be good. We have hospice care here in the US. Twice a week a nurse intern will come to your home. This can happen in the last six months. Hospice is part of the current health care system.
