I met him a couple of years ago when I took the LE500 out on a test drive - what a brilliant engineer. He's in love with MG and engineering, and on top of that I found him a thoroughly decent bloke - I hope he's still at Longbridge. As for me, well I test frove the MG6 a couple of weeks ago and was that impressed I ordered one, it's due for delivery next month ( I wish i could get my hands on it a bit sooner). I live in Burnley and the place is full of MG Rovers

@vainparasite thats good, its so frustrating that when your at the shops and it wont go into reverse....it happend the other day and i was blocking two girls it was hilarious.. a mechaninc mate of mine thinks its supposed to be like that given that the other gears dont pop out.. Bloddy hell lol Mick from australia

@Mycool1983 Mine goes into reverse without going into 1st first. Ive never heard of that one before.

I have the same MG as this and im learning manual in this car, I wish i can hit the reverse gear like they do straight away. For some reason these cars have to go into 1st gear then reverse..
