Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Paul McCartney will perform the historic first concerts at Citi Field the new home of the Mets Friday, July 17 and Saturday, July 18.

Tickets go on sale Monday, June 15 at 10:00 A.M. ET online exclusively at www.507TIXX.com and by phone at 718-507-TIXX. These concerts are rain or shine

These inaugural concert events at Citi Field mark the latest in a series of landmark performances that link the beloved Beatle with New York City and the home of the Mets. Beginning with The Beatles' legendary musical christening of Shea Stadium in 1965, and continuing with McCartney's special appearance at Billy Joel's "Last Play at Shea" show that closed the stadium last year, McCartney's summer shows at Citi Field will once again mark a momentous occasion in the history of New York and rock n' roll itself.

  • i went there on saturday. what band opened for him?

  • I recorded about 30 minutes worth of videos of Paul's concert last Tuesday when I went to the last of his performances in new york. The videos are really detailed and with a great quality audio. I recommend watching them. anyways the concert was awesome. paul's such a great performer. one of the best, if not the very best of all.

  • I went on Friday && it was so completely awsome!! It was my first concert && I couldn't have imagined a better one X ]]

  • I was there last night ( Tuesday) . Unfortunately no Ringo or other special guest, but it was an amazing show! We are all lucky that we got to see it! :)

  • Lilytaz what time did the show start?

  • lol yeah that was the point for me really to see him in person, but eh i'm bringing binoculars anyway :D. in the future i'll try to save up to buy the best ticket i can :]

  • lol i had cheap tickets about 5 rows from the back and it was a great show. cuz really unless you're sitting close enough to see him with your own eyes, you're watching the same screen as everyone else. it was an amazing show :D

  • oh ok, thanks for the info. i guess my seat won't be so bad, i'm going to be on the side last section, so it's like a balcony thing so i get to look over him, so i guess i have to make the best of it :D

  • have*

  • i'm going on tuesday :D can't wait. i has a question though. do they check tickets at every section? or just at the entrance? because i really want to get closer even if i don't have a seat xD
