Oh my god! That was fantastic! I agree with Mspendragon1972, I was pleasantly suprise - thank you! When I was a kid I would sing this song all day, over and over again, I can't tell you how many times I'd rewind the tape!

@Shani9178 Thanks, Shani. In the original Wizard of Oz, I always cheered for Dorothy, but in The Wiz, I always wanted Mabel King to win because I thought she was just misunderstood. lol I appreciate you watching and for spreading the video around. :)

SIGH.....I don't know ANY WHITE PEOPLE WHO NOT ONLY KNOW THE MOVIE BUT KNOW THIS SONG AND WHO MABEL K. IS!!!...are you a New Yorker?? BECAUSE IF YOUR NOT...damn I'm touched baby...I'll stop crying now...you didn't make fun of her performance or have 4 of your friends do a corny dance and giggle...you sang it, like you were paying homage...at least that's how I felt....She was amazing.... :) THANKYOU !

@Mspendragon1972 Your comments are very kind. Of course I know who Mabel King is! She is a diva and I would still be worshiping her talent if she was still with us. When I was a kid, I used to watch "What's Happening" because her voice was so soothing. Yes, I am a proud NYer. Thank you for watching!
