@travelader agreed, I always leave my phone on but I do have it on flight mode

@HHHappyHammer yes, I was about to mention that, I saw that episode. I think a camera is much less dangerous than a phone left on and I'm sure there are plenty of phones which weren't switched off.

@travelader On mythbusters they proved that electornic devices don't effect communication and navigation related systems on aircraft unless they have a VERY VERY rare signal, and even still it just makes the device make weird beeping noises rather than effecting the aircraft

@HHHappyHammer yes, definitely landing and takeoff I'd still be quite comfortable filming because I don't think it's a real threat to any communications.

@travelader Thats understandable, I would feel a bit uncomfortable to, if someone just said not to have it on, they must have just been p.o or something because Im pretty sure you are allowed them on until taxi, but who cares with all the take off and landing vids, every1 must keep them ON during takeoff and landing, R.E.B.E.L lol

@HHHappyHammer hi there, thanks :) I like boarding vids too, it's exciting to know what's coming up in an aircraft. I will try to do more boarding vids but lately, I have been a bit reluctant after a Singapore Airlines staff member told me to shut off the device while I was boarding, which was the 1st time that's ever happened.

@afridi10 I think that is when the phone blocks off all data and voice signals so as to avoid interference with the plane's electronics.
