I hope you and yours had a happy 2011 New Year's Day. We went to see these beautiful floats from the Rose Parade. It was a sunny day here in Southern California although the rains that stopped just before the New Year has brought some chilly wind. We really enjoy the crowds and popcorns and, of cause, millions of colorful flowers on the floats. I cannot help to draw some pictures with my new porcket version piston brush pens and soluble crayon.

Happy new year!

Henry

  • The brush pen that you are using, did you fill it with ink?

If you did, how did you do that and where did you get it?

    -Thankyou!

  • @daniinkriis Yes, I filled one with ink and one with water. You can get this Blue Heron brand piston filler brush pen at our online store BlueHeronArts(.)com. See video description for a direct link. Thanks!

  • Did you actually drive all the way to California? I saw on your profie that you live in Washington state.

Anyway, I hope you enjoyed it very much. Thank you for the reply on my last comment.

    Happy New Year to you!

  • @TheBuddhaTv I used to live in Washington sate but now I am in Southern California. Yes, I like the sunshine here all year round, the beaches in the summer and the mountains in the winter. I am still thinking of a landscape painting demo that you requested . Thanks for your patience.
