Few months back i saw a add in a matrimonial site this boy is from south india the add goes "A class officer seeks tall beautiful fair north Indian girl" a south indian means he must be dark as a tar road... & seeks a fair girl to marry

Everybody critizises Indians because they use Fair&Lovely!! What's wrong with that? What about western people, who use sprays and creams to make their skin brown? Some people even go to the solarium! pls don't be hypocrite!!

don't the people of Undia get sick of this self-hatred these ads depict? Most Indians are decidedly browner that the 'before' images in these ads. A nation filled with brown people who hate their skin & wish they were white is just plain sad! THere are white failures & brown successes. Education, skills & effort create success; not tubes of bleach.
