You guys better watch kazakhstan in 2011/2012. The rivers, mountains, canyons are the same, but look how cities have grown, especially Astana. There are a lot of skyscarpers and very beautiful architechtural buildings. Man if you think that kazakhs are poor, then type in google pictures "astana"

A slideshow of pictures apparently brings out the worst in people. Looking at all these comments makes me sad for humanity. All these broad statements insulting huge groups of people.... here's an idea: If you don't like it, try to improve things. Don't just sit around insulting people.

@banacek8675 Such kind of thoughts make me angry. First of all, you need to know history a little bit better.
Kazakhstan's territory has always belonged to Kazakhs. Simply, in XVIII century one of our khans made an agreement to join Russia. Since then gradually we've become part of USSR. And after 1991, many countries became independent states.
And Kazakh people never ever complain about lack of land. And we are very friendly and we don't have any strict & depressing religious attitude.
