This is the Kurdish song of Newroz (new year) written by Pîremêrd.
It is two versions, and I think both are sung by famous artist Salih Dilan from south Kurdistan (north Iraq).

One is from 1948 and the other from 1970.

In the first version (1948) it is sung

"...Cêjnêkî QAWMÎ Kurde be xo§î..."

and the second (1970) it is sung

"...Cêjnêkî KONÎ Kurde be xo§î...".

The actual text by Pîremêrd is "KONÎ" but some has sung it as "QAWMÎ".

Translation:
1948) "...NATIONAL Kurdish festivity comes with joy..."
1970) "...OLD Kurdish festivity comes with joy.."

Support the Kurds and a free great Kurdistan!

Great Kurdistan = west Turkey, east Iran, north Iraq, north Syria
