  • isn't that cheating? its the same thing as a using a camera obscura. Its just making a copy

  • @logan2233e you can't make a copy of a drawing using camera obscura or SimmTrace. All you do is to make a contour of the objects, to help you get the right proportions. Nothing else. The rest of the portrait is up to you how you make it look like.. As I said many times, it depends what you want to draw: a realistic portrait, or you just want to capture the expression of the character? In the second case for sure you will use free hand.

  • @logan2233e So I use this method of SimmTrace only for commissions, because in this case I have to make client's portrait look perfect ;)
