Bourdain is the man

Wow. I had respect for Bourdain before I saw this.

@gentleradical I'm a moderate libertarian conservative and I've traveled to every continent.

If Newt Gingrich or someone other than Mitt Romney becomes our nominee. Bourdain unfortunately will have been proven right. Newt Gingrich is NOT presidential material. He isn't extreme, he's just crazy, undisciplined, and divisive.

Too bad you didn't have the cojones to post the entire segment. You can't have meaningful discourse about anything when you censor the views that oppose your own.

As a liberal, I am against wasteful spending (ask my husband). I'm for the greater good, against greed and accumulation of wealth just for the sake of ego while others suffer. I'm for small business over big. I'm only for gov't regulation when it protects the powerless. e.g.. Corporations thinking of profit while endangering our health (both economical health and physical health). The GOP is about spreading fear of change and non-acceptance. Protecting their personal wealth at all costs.

When all else fails, look for spelling errors.

@moosefart: Damn right, he nailed it except for the "marginal" comment. The Tea party helped republicans trounce the democrats in 2010. There's nothing marginal about that. Those angry white people are the people who make this country work. They are the business owners and the tax base. If liberals weren't on perpetual lunatic spending sprees there wouldn't be a Tea Party. All the modern liberal stands for today is the confiscation of other people's wealth and the expansion of the state.
Ted Nugent crapped his pants and left it that way for a week to avoid getting drafted for Vietnam. He's a real patriot.

People who travel the world tend to be less selfish/more openminded (unlike Conservatives). Those selfish whiners should travel internationally more and get to know other cultures. We Americans are brainwashed into thinking we're "all that," but we'd better get our acts together or we'll never survive another 200 years as a "world power." I don't understand why any middle class person would support Republicans=big money/corporations who are killing America. Research EU vs. U.S. food laws.
