I heard a voice like Winter call my name
Said, very soon that I would join them there
And all the creatures born of ink and rage and lies
Crawled from my pen and ran across the page to die...

Amazing
Thanx for this. As a late teenager in the mid 70's I fell in love with Bebop Deluxe, and, even when it wasn't remotely fashionable I would walk proud with my Albums under my arm!! A truly unsung great of the British music scene. They and Mott were the torchbearers in very different ways.

From "Sight and Sound In Concert" series. It was broadcast on BBC2 TV (Mono Sound) & BBC Radio1 (Stereo Sound) in the UK. Most S&S in concerts were recorded in the BBC's North London theatre studio. (As this one was.) The idea was to only watch the pictures and have the sound turned down on your TV, while listening to the stereo sound from the radio! (UK TV only broadcast in mono at the time!!)
