When Hassan Palakkode (now called Kamal Hassan- not to be confused with the actor!)) announced that he's reverting to Hinduism from Islam, he got DEATH THREATS FROM ISLAMO FASCISTS!!!!! That didn't stop him from coming back to his Vedic roots, though! I admire him for that! WRONG! Look at famous Malayali author "Hassan Palakkode".....he converted back to Hinduism from Islam in a very open publicized Vedic ceremony along with another Muslim & Christian lady a few years back (google it).
