The remarkable tale of King Sejong as he is one of the greatest kings in Korean history for creating Hangul, the Korean alphabet and having many skilled followers. Although most government officials and aristocrats opposed usage of hangul, lower classes embraced it, became literate, and were able to communicate with one another in writing. Hangul became the very identity of the Korean people. This film is dedicated to King Sejong.

This project took me about 4 weeks to produce as I had to get the essential supplies to make the film. My family and friends believe it would be impossible to make a historic movie about King Sejong mostly when living in the United States. So I was ambitious and luckily I had enough skill to make the film with Adobe After Effects and Sony Vegas. If you want to learn how to do these effects with adobe after effects you can ask me anytime.

  • it's great. from philippine

  • @kimericandy It's just a translation mistake... It's about Korean Writing, not spoken language.

  • All spoke Korean, but had no proper alphabet, since the upper echelons adopted Chinese writng, leaving the lower classes illiterate.

  • yes he spoke korean before the hangul was made
