The Yamaha PSR-E403/413 has the ability to load in and use custom style files. This shows you where the styles can be downloaded from and what software is required. It takes you through step by step converting a style to make it suitable for the keyboard, saving and transfering it across USB using Yamaha's Musicsoft Downloader program. Website links -

  • there is this style. i not find it. plz hellp

  • @xobeful The style used in the video was just an example one used to demonstrate how to modify and load them onto the E403. The sites listed on the given website change every so often. Go for the ones which are marked with a 'F' at the end as the styles from these sites are free. Just try one from PSR Tutorial Styles as this is a good place to start. Try to avoid ones for S910, Tyros 3 and Tyros 4 as these are in a different format to the other models.

  • looking through the manual I see there is a sustain pedal you can plug in. would you know if you can adjust the sustain in the organ. of do you have to get the pedal . or is the sustain set to default and the pedal only switches it on and off. looking through the manual I don't see sustain mentioned other than the switch. can you give me any tips on this thanks stan

  • @sdods2 Hi, I don't have the 403 anymore. However you can adjust the release time with knob B on it's 3rd effect (EG). I'm sure you can do this with most of the voices. Turn the knob too far clockwise and the notes will mesh with each other. Try around 4 o'clock position.

  • again good advice used the input . and it worked , the sound had too much bass. but I can work on that. thanks again

  • @sdods2 Cheers. In the function menu there are different settings for master EQ. One of them may soften the bass
