Our first flight of our 4 meter wingspan powered glider which we are using for development of our navigation systems. We took off on a very windy day. We will repair and be back again though, moving from remote control to self sustained autonomous flight soon.
17Apr2010 We built this as a test bed for the power system for the final solar UAV design - was running really well. We rebuilt and had some other successful flights with this big beauty but then I got so busy with my Solar Light Cap project - will definately get back to this one day when www.SolarLightCap.com doesn't need me 20 hours a day...
I saw the pole jump right in the way. Happens a lot. Mean bastards!!
