Not to mention it blew a huge hole in the used car and parts market that will take years to repair.

Rip 6.8l v-10 they should have set up a program for people with low income and payment plans for people that could not afford a reasonable transportation for the better of the cash for clunker cars and trucks
-
i'm not a ford man, but this shit pissed me off, perfectly good vehicles being torn up for no reason. FUCK OBAMA!!

My 2002 Ford Ranger 4x4 with 31'' tires and a 3'' lift still gets better gas milage than a brand new 2011 Toyota Tacoma, and with my cold air intake I have better horsepower and torque as well. Newer doesnt always mean better, im sure cash for clunkers blew more polluted smoke into the air than if they would of just gave the cars a chance and sold them to underprivledged people and new drivers looking for a decent ride
-
I would of gladly paid more than 4500 for this truck. Cash for clunkers accomplished nothing. Infact it made sure that lower class families or a young kid looking for a decent ride cant find anything worth a shit because all that left is overpriced Japanese imported garbage and european-style cookiecutter cars. Some cars that were sold in cash for clunkers needed to go, but the majority were 10 years old or newer and had lots of life and looked really nice. What a waste!

Just imagin what kinda of stimulation they would have brought to needy families oug government is sick wake up sheeple
-
@Jediimastera Cash for clunkers was the destroyer of thousands of old jeeps, and project cars that never got a chance to be helped
-
WHAT A FUCKING SIN. THOSE 'CASH FOR CLUNKERS' PEOPLE OUGHT TO BE ASHAMED OF THEMSELVES.
-
I know I ain't voting Obama's ass back into office. That's for sure. This Cash for clunkers program was stupid!
-

Way to go Obama. You created a program that ruined thousands of good vehicles that many poor and underprivileged families could have used. How hard would it have been to do this program so that those who were close to getting a new vehicle could, then sell all the "clunkers" at lower than blue book value so that many families who couldn't have afforded a vehicle would be able to get one. Selling these vehicles would have helped cover the cost of the program and stimulated the economy.
