Manual High School: Year Two [excerpt]

After closing for a year to regroup and reorganize, Denvers Manual High School reopened in the fall of 2007 with a single freshman class. Each year another freshman class would begin and Manual would be a fully populated high school by 2011 when the first freshmen graduated. Manual Year One and Manual Year Two feature highlights from the first two years of this new high school in inner-city Denver. Interviews with students, teachers and administrators create a vivid picture of life inside this recharged high school.
