I don't feel threatened.Flawless safety record.Trucking since '04.My own personal opinion on the electronic on board computers is this: they are the best thing that has happened to the trucking industry. My company cannot push me harder than what i feel confortable with, i feel like a normal human being, a rested human. Sure the money is less example: before eobc's i made $850 a week at .36cpm. now, i'm down to about $700 a week. i'll take pay cut in exchange for more rest and not getting fired.

If you are so "lazer focused" on safety, why wont you listen to the sleep experts who are telling you that it is safer to let air traffic controllers power nap. Sounds like you only listen to your own internal biased. You have obviously never worked a swing shift. People cannot will themselves awake at all hours of the night. Get with it DOT, listen to the scientists and quite being such politically motivated hacks.

This is such a great idea for getting a pulse on how people feel about safety.
