One of the reasons why younger people became Satanists is because of people like this who say one thing and do another. Fred Phelps and his daughter Shirley Roper Phelps are lawyers. Forty five years ago, Fred was fighting for civil rights. In the 1970's he was disbarred. Today, he is antagonizing others and gets his flock to do the same. He and his daughter Shirley are scripture lawyers. When they harass others at the funeral, the Satanists I have met only said: "See? We were right about them"

I have been cheering on Fred Phelps and the WBC ever since I heard about them. I consider him a true christian. Just add some slavery and torture and they would be spot on.

The bible talks about love but at the same time, it spreads seeds of evil. It is full of hated, killing, and even genocide. there is no right way to use it. Many passages can be used in a right way but as a book, it becomes a tool for the haters.

Then again, you won't always get a massacre from someone misusing a chainsaw, but still, a lot of interesting to downright awful things can happen.

The Bible is a tool. There's a right way to use it and over 9000 ways not to.
It's like a chainsaw, I guess. What happens if you don't use a chainsaw just right? You get things like the Texas Chainsaw Massacre.
Anyway, concerning this video, if logical people were turned away because of WBC, then theoretically they would no longer be logical because they used a logical fallacy, letting WBC be a stereotype of Christians.

WBC are not ignorant. Ignorance means a lack of knowledge, and they are very knowledgeable. You could make a case they are hateful, but not that they are ignorant.
Also, why would WBC turn "logical" people against religion any more than other people? It seems more likely that *emotional* people would be turned off by WBC more than other religious groups. What *logical* difference is there?
Seems the video maker is ignorant of WBC and logic.

Fred Phelps uses the same bible as all the other chritians... The bible can be interpreted many ways.. That is why it is bad....
