"Another boring day at work" Nick mumbled as he walked through the busy streets of Orlando, Florida. It was always the same routine, wake up in the morning and go straight to work and honestly he was getting tired of it. He sighed when the big revolting doors came to view and he walked through them with no emotion. He remembers hoe the first year he used to love walking through them but now, it was just boring.


"Hey Nick!" Liam yelled excitedly as he saw his best friend walking towards the elevators. He had just arrived too so he waited patiently for Nick, holding the elevator for him.



"Hey Liam" Nick mumbled with no emotion as he walked past him to get into the elevator. Liam and Nick have been best friends ever since Liam got hired four years ago, Nick was the one that introduced him to Miley, and now they were happily married.




Liam brought his eyebrows together, looking at Nick curiously "Please don't tell me is one of those days" He said teasingly as his lips curled into a smirk




Nick sighed feeling exhausted all of the sudden "It is" he mumbled looking up at the metal ceiling.



Liam chuckled looking at Nick happily "You know what your problem is?" He asked turning his head up to the ceiling just like Nick




"No Liam" Nick said feeling aggravated by Liam. "I don't know what's my problem, but I'm sure that you, a man that has been married for only three years, has something wise to say about my marriage of eight, but to be honest with you, I am not interested"




Instead of getting mad and frustrated by Nick's childish behavior, Liam only smiled while looking at Nick with his dark blue eyes. After all he had just prove his point "You don't listen" Liam said sweetly.




Nick turned to Liam with wide chestnut eyes filled with embarrassment. He didn't know what to say at the moment, but he couldn't help to think Liam was right "Look..." Nick exhaled "I'm sorry, Liam"



Liam raised his hand to cut Nick off "Don't sweat it man" he said smiling "You two only need to talk it out you know"



Nick leaned his head back on the cold metal wall of the elevator "No..." Nick exhaled closing his eyes "I think it's time to end this marriage"




Liam turned to Nick with wide eyes "What!" he snapped "You can't throw away an eight year marriage just like that!"




The elevator doors opened with a loud "ding" sound that made Nick open his eyes "Look I really don't want to talk about it" Without another word he walked out of the elevator leaving Liam speechless.



The elevator doors closed and Liam desperately took out his cell phone out of his pocket. He flipped it open and as fast as he could he dialed Miley's number "Pick up baby, pick up" Liam mumbled eagerly through the phone




At the second ring Liam's lips curled into an immediate smile "Hello?" Miley's voice rang into his ear




"Miley!" Liam snapped "We have to do something"
