Throw Us a Rope - Creep / Like a Stone

That rockin' law firm of Ropes & Gray now has its own rock 'n roll band - Throw Us a Rope. On Wednesday, July 22, 2009, the TUAR Tour kicked off with its first performance in an R&G conference room in the News Corp. building in Rockefeller Center, New York. Would you have expected anything different from a big NY law firm? We had a blast, and we think the crowd did, too. Here're our first two songs, Creep (Radiohead) and Like a Stone (Audioslave). The roles of the bandmembers changed as the evening progressed (look for the other two posts for the rest of the show), and the initial lineup for these first two songs was: John McClain (guitar/bass), Dorian Needham (vocals), Nick Niles (bass/guitar), Drew Oringer (drums, promoter), Ryan Oringer (guitar), Bonnie Oringer (videographer) and Tyler Oringer (on the Plush/Sunshine video). stick to the law fellas...vocals suck, lead singer creeps me out, the bands timing is terrible...bassist is alright tho..lead singer cant hit any notes, why would he make such a spectacle of himself....thats really your best take on radiohead? i cant listen to the second song...aaah...yuppies...
