  • can you put your phone on it?

  • @poptartfuntop

I don't think there is light enough phone for this model.

However Levitron Revolution should be powerful enough to lift most cellphones though.

  • Awesome. I saw the I think it was the revolution on Vat19. Is this one better? If so where can I buy it? And how much does it cost?

Oh and one more question, how much weight can it hold?

    Thanks!

    -Shawn

  • @Eurostar710

you can buy this on innovatoys web site.

World Stage is weaker version, can only lift 3 ounces.

    Revolution can lift 12 ounces.

    each around $100

  • So if you suddenly unplug the base, the top will fly off through a glass window and knock out your neighbor's daughter on the trampoline.

  • @TheCheatingBastard

nope, the platform magnet is very strong.

the top will just drop really fast to the platform if the power is shut off.

it doesn't make whole lot of difference how fast the top is rotating.

  • ok now can rotate without friction... so...

    1.make a device large enough

    2.disc withe stabilisation

3.diameter of disc largest as possible flatest and flawless as possible with current tech

    4.make it all twice

5.rotate them in opposite directions in vacum chamber with discs as close to each other as possible

now you can experiment with time dilatation effects relativly cheaply and efficently

    ...2 objects (relativity theory)

  • When that thing started havng a seizure, I thought it was going to fly off and hit the camera or something!

  • but will it blend?

  • @simhopp disregard that last reply, I got it now. Oh but also I meant, can you put your phone on it without it messing your phone up, like magnetically?

  • @simhopp can't it hold up to 12 ounces? I looked it up and my iPhone is 4 oz.

  • What just happened at the end?

  • brussup!
