  • Hello Mr. Raph, I've been a fan of you since I first started playing and your videos have helped me improve a lot! Unfortunately, my tone isn't very good. Would you happen to have any advice for tone?

  • @JTeaTang

Blow through the horn, fill the room.

    Listen to good players.

  • Whats the point of being able to squeak out a stratosphere Bb when most normal musical literature rarely even goes over high middle C?

  • @jmclarke1

Its about going beyond 'most normal music literature'

  • Hi Mr. Alan Raph, I really like your videos, they're very very complete but I've had a question that I think is very important, Could you explain where are exactly the seven positions?? 'cause sometimes it's a little confused please, or just show me a link with the information like a position chart... I'll be too gratefull !! Thanks for reading my comment, greatings from Mexico !! and I'm sorry if my english isn't the correct !!

  • @spermgot

Go to my website and get my email address. Send to it your name and address & I'll send you a position chart that I did for King instruments some years ago.

  • @MajorasMaskMailman Whoops, I meant an octave above that note.

  • I can get to an E flat above middle C sometimes. I'm young though, I'll keep working on it.

  • Its a Conn 88H with a King counter weight.

  • what kind of king is that?
