The Family on the GO visits the historic Jarrell Plantation. Site Manager Marty Fleming gives them a tour and a history lesson on the Jarrell Family's enterprise. A stop at nearby Julliet took them to the Whistle Stop Cafe for burgers and sweet tea.
By the way, that's Paul Heath on guitar and David Ladner on banjo. Check out David's channel at www.youtube.com/dl42k
We visited there last year, my daughter fell in love with the cat. They had to get rid of the animals because of budget cutbacks on the days they are open :(

Great work with this series! I live in SC but get over into Georgia a lot, I need to go check these places out sometime. I really enjoy driving on the backroads in Georgia when I'm in the state too.

Great video!! Enjoyed!! B.R. Jarrell was my great grandfather, every summer we'd visit my grandma and she'd take us to the farm. I remember once, sometime in the 80's my great-uncle Willie showed me how home made nails were made in the blacksmith shop.
