P44 played through a 1968 princeton. Shows the bridge pickup and acoustic pickup used independently and then simultaneously.

  • youve probably already answered this but did that need an acoustic amp? btw whats the first song you were playing? the blues one

  • @ImOutsideTheBox

The song is "boom boom boom" by John Lee Hooker. No, you don't need an acoustic amp to use the piezo. The signal runs fine thru your regular amp. You can do that if you want both sounds simultaneously using the stereo output cable.

  • how do you think the p44 v version would be compared to this cos i cant afford a pro model

  • I liked it a lot. I have since sold it to a student but recently acquired a P36 and it's solid, too. These are very well made instruments and are quite affordable IMO.

  • do all parkers have an acoustic neck pickup or do you have to fir one

  • The acoustic transducers are in the bridge. I believe most of them have these standard. Check out the Parker website for details.

  • actually my piezo isn't working where can I buy another one ? please help

  • u should have plugged it into the DAW before recording it..

    \m/_

  • how does the piezo pickup sound with a high gain/overdriven amp/distortion pedal?

  • guys..help.. i want to get that acoustic sound.. where can get a pickup like that for the electric guitar and how much does it cost? does anyone know any sites where i can check them out? thanx in advance!

  • boom boom!!!

  • Very nice!

  • @ImOutsideTheBox The main feature of piezoelectric pickups is their frequency response. They have a far higher frequency range than magnetic pickups, which means that if you play through a guitar amp you will not get the full range of sounds that are being produced. I can't really comment on the Parker P44, but the piezoelectric guitars I've tried all sound far better through full-range amps.

It'll still work through a guitar amp, but it sort of defeats the purpose of the piezoelectric tech.

  • @x24guitarman oh wow really? thats impressive, especially when the boss acoustic simmy needs an acoustic amp, and cheers dude
