@Aaidas2 Thats why you work in hunter killer teams, And the Tow is good from 100m to 3750m but I've seen hits out to 4000. One team fires kenetic weapons and the other team slips up and fires the TOW. We did it with Hmmwv's so don't tell me an LAV or Bradley cant do it.

maybe...people who blindly ignore proof

Yep. He's probably just one of those guys who has an irrational despise of the Bradley.

cav scouts
the bradley had more kills on iraqi armor in the gulf war than the abrams. Most modern day tanks cant reach the TOWs range.
-
That's pretty hard to do when the TOW missle just opened that tank up like a sardine can. I don't know what soldier's you've talked to, but they would rather ride in a Bradley than a Humvee any day, and the Bradley has been utilized quite effectively against insurgents in Iraq. It doesn't see much action in Afghanistan because the terrain is hell on tracked vehicles.

Ok, that guy Aaidas is a tard. First, the Bradley can and has gone up against tanks. It's behavior against insurgents and against a conventional military are completely different, but it can do both more than adequately. My team has BFISTs (Bradley Fire Support Vehicles) but we roll with Abrams and other Bradleys. No tank just see's the smoke from a missile and fire's back in that direction. That would be pointless and they wouldn't hit us.

Oh how does an airsoft junkie challenge a combat engineer in the military....try picking up a real boomstick and carrying that in a blazing hot sandpit for 8 months then come back and talk.

so if they cannot pierce hulls on any armored vehicles so why then do the hodgi's in Afghanistan use them? read the wiki on RPG-7, i am a combat engineer. a HEAT (High explosive anti tank) round is designed to penetrate armor. if its two stage. you have two molten slugs cutting the armor up. two stage is designed to counteract reactive armor. oh is that also why they use RPG's as IED's in Afghanistan? get your facts straight. i know someone who got killed by an RPG in Afghanistan.
